Celebrations....

This week we have been looking at Diwali!
We have made candle holders and created chalk patterns.
Diwali is celebrating the New Year like the Chinese New Year and our New Year. These all happen at different times of the year - according to the moon.

Sealord Water Safety Skills

We are having ten water safety swimming lessons at Wai Splash. We go to the pools each Monday, Wednesday and Friday for a 30 minute lesson on keeping ourselves safe in the water.
We are all doing this in the big lane pool!

Cross Country

We finally had our Team 1 and 2 Cross Country on Friday 30 October 2015. This was held on the top field. The weather was a little cold and some of us ran in our polar fleeces.
We had all worn our black clothes to show our support for the All Blacks who were playing Australia on Sunday morning in the Rugby World Cup final.
We all tried our best and ran without stopping for the one or two laps we had to do!
