Sunflower Science

We have been growing sunflowers from seeds during term 3. We found the fastest sunflower to sprout was the King Kong seed. We have continued to water and look after our sunflower seeds. Each day we rush to put the seed trays outside before school and bring them in to the classroom before we go home at 3 o'clock.
Today we have planted all of our sunflower seeds in the school garden over by the old swimming pool. We will keep going over at lunchtimes to check and see how our plants are growing!

  2. I love sunflowers and I am glad I now know the best kind of seeds to grow. You guys are pretty amazing scientists. I will have to keep an eye on the garden to see how they are growing

  3. Have you had a look at how big your sunflowers are getting room 6? Check out the garden and see because its such an interesting place.
